About Kevin
Therapy is about understanding and changing the stories we tell ourselves; embracing new versions of ourselves in an attempt to live our lives to our fullest potential. As a therapist with a background in the arts and improv, I bring a unique and creative approach to my work with adolescents, and children. I enjoy using a therapeutic approach that incorporates humor and lightness, along with mindfulness and emotional awareness to bring a creative approach to discovering what holds us back.
I am an Associate therapist under the supervision of Megan Costello, LMFT #95052. I graduated top of my class from Phillips Graduate Marriage & Family Therapy master’s program (AMFT #145953). I specialize in a narrative and person-centered therapeutic approach, integrating psychoeducation, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and mindfulness techniques.
My clinical practice includes working with children, couples and families, addressing issues such as anxiety, trauma, and depression. I am dedicated to providing compassionate care and strive to foster a safe and supportive environment that promotes healing and personal growth. With a focus on narrative therapy, I help children and families reframe their life experiences, and rewrite unhelpful narratives to imagine a new story for their family. I use a person-centered approach to help your child feel comfortable and supported. We will integrate individualized evidence based strategies to support long term/lasting/sustainable/ change for your family.
